Hello, I am Punith

I am a technology researcher and strategist with a Master’s in Computer Science and over five years of experience working at the intersection of emerging technologies, governance, and product development. My current focus is on AI governance, policy, and safety.

I am interested in understanding how governments, research institutions, and technology companies can design effective oversight mechanisms, risk assessment frameworks, and governance structures for frontier AI systems. My work focuses on areas such as AI safety, model risk evaluation, institutional oversight, and global coordination on AI governance.

Earlier in my career, I worked in the Web3 ecosystem, where I researched decentralized protocols and participated in the development of blockchain-based products. This experience exposed me to complex technological systems, governance models, and coordination challenges across distributed ecosystems.

Most recently, I worked as Chief of Staff and Founding Product Manager at AlphablockZ Ventures, where I led cross-functional initiatives, supported executive decision-making, and helped coordinate ecosystem partnerships and integrations with blockchain projects.

My background in product, governance mechanisms, and emerging technologies informs my growing work in AI policy and safety. I am particularly interested in contributing to research and policy initiatives that focus on ensuring advanced AI systems are developed and deployed in ways that are safe, accountable, and beneficial to society.
